DONE DEAL: Chelsea reach agreement to sign midfielder. Medical scheduled for the next 24 hours

According to the Athletic, Chelsea have reached an agreement with French club Rennes to sign midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu.

Chelsea have reached an agreement worth around €27.5million (£23.5m) for the 19-year-old. A medical is scheduled for the next 24 hours.

Ugochukwu has also agreed personal terms with Chelsea and will sign a long-term contract with the Blues.

It is undecided at this stage whether Ugochukwu will go straight into the first-team squad or go on loan.

Ugochukwu made 35 appearances for Rennes last season.

    They should focus on their issues and leave chelsea alone please
