Liverpool’s bid for Chelsea transfer target rejected

Premier League rivals Liverpool have reportedly seen an opening offer for Chelsea transfer target Romeo Lavia rejected by Southampton.

According to the Athletic, Southampton have rejected a £37million ($44.5m) offer for Romeo Lavia from Liverpool.

Southampton are reportedly seeking £50million for 19 year old midfielder Lavia, who joined the south-coast club from Manchester City last summer.

The Belgium international has caught the eye of Chelsea since joining Southampton from Manchester City last summer but the Blues are yet to submit an offer.
