Club offer to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku on loan. It’s not Inter Milan

According to the Times, Italian giants Juventus will try to convince Chelsea to let them sign Romelu Lukaku on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Inter Milan, where he spent last season on loan, were keen on agreeing a permanent deal and had submitted two offers, the highest in the region of £25 million, but have since backed out.

Chelsea have also received an official bid for the 30 year old striker from the Saudi Arabian Pro League side Al-Hilal but Lukaku is reluctant to move to Saudi Arabia.

Chelsea are reluctant to agree to another loan deal for a player who cost £97.5 million two years ago, especially when the club have a permanent offer on the table.

Juventus are understood to have a budget of about £35 million to sign Lukaku but would prefer to arrange a temporary deal until the end of the season
