Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has agreed to reunite with former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri at Italian side Lazio, according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla.
Lazio will now accelerate talks with Chelsea over a move for Hudson-Odoi who is keen on leaving Stamford Bridge this summer after spending last season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen.
Sarri was behind Hudson-Odoi’s emergence into the Chelsea first-team during his time as Blues boss and is keen on bringing the winger to Lazio.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed Lazio are in advanced talks with Chelsea to sign Hudson-Odoi.
Romano tweeted: “Lazio are now in advanced talks to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea as negotiations are progressing well.
“There’s a Premier League club also keen on signing him but Lazio are now ahead — considered good option by the player.”
