Chelsea beat Brighton 4-3 in a pre-season clash with goals from Christopher Nkunku, Mykhailo Mudryk, Conor Gallagher and Nicolas Jackson.

Reacting to Chelsea’s performance against Brighton, Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino said: “It was a really tough game but I am very happy.

“After three weeks of working it is important to congratulate the players because the attitude was amazing. I am so happy.

“We conceded some goals which are painful but we need to work more. It is good for the new players to score, we are happy for them.”
