According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Chelsea transfer target Moises Caicedo has told Brighton he wants to join Chelsea.

Chelsea are attempting to sign Caicedo but have so far had two bids rejected by Brighton.

Jacobs tweeted: “Caicedo has directly told Roberto De Zerbi and some senior members of the Brighton hierarchy he wants to leave. Will have more tomorrow. No third bid yet from Chelsea.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea star Marc Cucurella has urged Moises Caicedo to join him at Chelsea.

Asked about Caicedo, Cucurella said: “I’ve read in the media that he wants to come here a lot of times!“I have a good relationship with him. He is a top player and if he came here I think we would have a top midfielder for a long time.”
