According to a report on Tribal Football, Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is pushing for Chelsea to terminate his contract so he can join French club Marseille on a free transfer.

The report states: “Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is negotiating a release from his Chelsea contract.

“The veteran striker has agreed a three-year deal with Olympique Marseille. However, it is dependent on Chelsea granting him a free transfer.

“Aubameyang has already passed his Marseille medical.

“Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting the move will be confirmed once documents regarding the termination of his Chelsea contract are signed and counter-signed.

“Aubameyang joined the Blues last August from Barcelona.”
