Chelsea are preparing a new bid of £80 million plus add-ons for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, according to Daily Mail via Metro.

Mauricio Pochettino is keen on signing a midfielder this summer and Caicedo is Chelsea’s top midfield target for the summer window.

It’s understood that Brighton are holding out for a fee in the region of £100m and are using Arsenal’s £105m deal with West Ham for Declan Rice as a benchmark.

Despite Brighton rejecting Chelsea’s £70million offer for Caicedo, Chelsea are not giving up and intend to return with an offer worth £80m plus further bonuses.
