According to Brazilian media outlet Globo Esporte, Chelsea have submitted an offer for Brazilian forward Matheus Franca. Premier League side Crystal Palace have also submitted an offer.

The report doesn’t say how much the Blues put on the table but the report insists Flamengo want €25million from the sale of Franca.

Crystal Palace are reportedly leading Chelsea in the race for Franca as they are willing to use their Brazilian in their first-team immediately. Chelsea want to loan Franca to French club Strasbourg.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have completed the signing of Brazilian winger Angelo Gabriel from Santos.

The 18-year-old arrives at Stamford Bridge having made 129 first-team appearances for Santos across all competitions.
