According to a report on GOAL, Chelsea are demanding just £5million for the transfer of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, less than a year after signing him for £12million from Barcelona.

Chelsea have communicated to Aubameyang’s suitors Marseille that they are unwilling to let him depart on a free transfer this summer. 

Aubameyang has agreed a three-year contract with Marseille and is now waiting for both clubs to reach an agreement on a fee.

Chelsea’s insistence on securing a fee reflects the club’s desire to recoup some of the investment made on Aubameyang, who arrived for £12 million from Barcelona last year.
