According to talkSPORT, Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku will not travel with the Chelsea squad on Monday for the pre-season tour of the USA.

Lukaku, who had claimed he wanted to return to Inter Milan all summer, has seen the move to Inter Milan collapse after Inter Milan discovered he held secret talks with Juventus through his representatives.

Juventus are now frontrunners to sign the striker, who is keen to leave Chelsea this summer.

However, Juventus must sell Dusan Vlahovic to finance the transfer of Lukaku.

Chelsea travel to the USA on Monday for our pre-season tour, but Lukaku won’t be part of the travelling squad even though he is expected to return to Chelsea on Monday.

Chelsea, without Lukaku, will play five friendlies during the tour of the USA – Wrexham, Brighton, Newcastle United, Fulham and Borussia Dortmund.
