Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe is excited to see Christopher Nkunku in action for Chelsea.
Mbappe and Nkunku played together at Paris Saint-Germain, prior to the latter’s 2019 RB Leipzig switch.
Nkunku agreed a move to Chelsea last November, which was finally formally announced last month.
On Saturday, Nkunku posted a picture of himself on Instagram in training with Chelsea and captioned it: “First session with the lads.”
Mbappe responded to the post: “I’m going to get my popcorn.”
Nkunku managed 23 goals for RB Leipzig last term, despite sustaining an injury that ruled him out of the World Cup. He would be hoping to replicate his goalscoring form for Chelsea next season.
