Chelsea are interested in signing Lyon playmaker Rayan Cherki this summer.

According to 90min, Lyon are ready to sell the 19-year-old playmaker for £43 million but the Blues are confident of signing Cherki for £30 million.

Cherki is also keen on joining Chelsea, a move which will see him reunite with former Lyon teammate Malo Gusto at Chelsea.

The France Under-21 international made 21 starts and 13 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Lyon last season, scoring four goals and providing six assists.

Lyon manager Laurent Blanc described Cherki as a “very talented” player who “has exceptional qualities” in April this year.
