Liverpool will join Chelsea in the race for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo if they lose Jordan Henderson and Fabinho this summer, according to talkSPORT.
Henderson is on the verge of joining Saudi club Al-Ettifaq, a move which will see him earn £700,000-a-week while Fabinho is attracting interest from Saudi club Al-Ittihad.
The departure of the experienced duo will leave Liverpool short in midfield again despite the signings of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.
According to talkSPORT, Jurgen Klopp’s side could join the rice for Caicedo, who is valued £100million by Brighton.
Chelsea are currently leading the race to sign Caicedo this summer but are yet to reach an agreement with Brighton for a transfer fee.
Caicedo admitted this week that he is desperate to join Chelsea, saying that he ‘couldn’t say no’ to the Blues while calling Chelsea a ‘beautiful team’.
