According to the Sun, Chelsea reject Joao Felix was forced to train with Atletico Madrid’s academy players on the first day of pre-season.

Felix moved to Chelsea on loan in January but he only managed four goals in 20 appearances and Chelsea rejected the chance to sign the Portugal international.

Felix has already been stripped of his no.7 shirt at Atletico Madrid and was made to train with the academy in the first day of Atletico’s pre-season training camp.

Felix trained with Atletico’s academy players while Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone led a tactical drill with the first-team squad.

Later in the session, he is said to have linked up with the senior squad, but it speaks to Felix’s current standing in Diego Simeone’s set-up.

Felix is believed to have his heart set on a switch to PSG as he looks to secure an exit from Spain. And new PSG boss Luis Enrique is also said to be interested in making it happen.
