Former Lazio captain Paolo di Canio believes Chelsea star Christian Pulisic can “explode” at AC Milan.
Di Canio said: “Pulisic is good, he can play as an attacking midfielder but not as an attacking midfielder between the lines. He is very good with the ball, in direct dribbling, in quick exchanges with teammates.
“He’s not a super goalscorer, 20 goals in 93 games for Chelsea aren’t many, but he’s someone who gives continuity of performance when he’s as good as he was in his first two years at the Chelsea, while in the last two he has suffered a lot.
“Christian is a very good and polite boy, if he is not pampered after some injuries you can risk losing him for a few weeks. We are talking about him as if he were an elderly person to be rehabilitated, he has been playing for many years but he’s a ’98, he turns 25 in September and he can still explode.
“In the Italian championship he will be able to do even better because it’s a championship that has less pace. Milan is a team that wants to play football, that wants to offer its football through maneuver.”
