18 year old Brazilian forward to sign 6 year contract with Chelsea this week, Fabrizio Romano confirms

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed 18 year old Brazilian forward Angelo Gabriel will fly to London this week and sign a 6 year contract with Chelsea.

Romano also confirmed Chelsea will pay Brazilian club Santos €15million for the transfer of Angelo Gabriel.

Romano tweeted: “Can confirm again Angelo Gabriel plan to fly to London this week then sign 6 year deal at Chelsea. €15m fee to Santos.”

Angelo became the youngest player in the history of the Brazilian national championship when he made his Santos debut in October 2020, aged just 15 years and 308 days, surpassing the record set by Santos and footballing icon Pele.

Angelo would break another record in April 2021, becoming the youngest goalscorer in the history of the Copa Libertadores aged 16 years and 105 days, after scoring against San Lorenzo.
