Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has given the greenlight for the club to sell American international Christian Pulisic, according to the Express.
Pulisic is attracting interest from AC Milan and Lyon but is keen on joining AC Milan.
Pulisic joined Chelsea in January 2019 for £58million before he was loaned back to Dortmund for the rest of the season. He was viewed as a replacement for Eden Hazard, who decided to sign for Real Madrid in a mammoth £130m deal in June later that year.
At the time, Hazard hailed Chelsea’s decision to sign Pulisic as his replacement and insisted the American international had the potential to become ‘one of the best’ players in the world.
“He can be one of the best in the future for sure,” Hazard told the Associated Press in 2019. “He [Pulisic] can be [a star]. Now he’s at one of the best clubs in the world. He’s a proper player. He can play football.”
Pulisic has largely struggled to lock down a regular place in the starting XI at Chelsea due to injuries and poor form.
