Brazilian winger Angelo Gabriel is set to join Chelsea after the Blues reached an agreement with Brazilian club Santos to sign the player for €15 million (£13m/$16m).

Angelo became the youngest player in the history of the national championship when he made his Santos debut in October 2020, aged just 15 years and 308 days, surpassing the record set by Santos and footballing icon Pele.

Neymar didn’t make his Santos debut until after his 17th birthday.

Angelo would break another record in April 2021, becoming the youngest goalscorer in the history of the Copa Libertadores aged 16 years and 105 days, after scoring against San Lorenzo.
