“All documents are in place with Santos set to receive €15m fee.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea have identified three players the club will sign as replacement for Mason Mount who has agreed to join Manchester United.
According to Football London, Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga, Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz and Lyon midfielder Rayan Cherki have been identified as the ideal replacements for Mount.
Mount has been a mainstay in Chelsea’s side since he broke into the first team under Frank Lampard in 2019. The 24-year-old has made 195 appearances for the Blues, scoring 33 and assisting 37.
With Mount leaving for Manchester United, Chelsea are keen on signing an attacking midfielder in the coming weeks.
