Chelsea have received an offer from French club Lyon for USA international winger Christian Pulisic, according to the Athletic.

Chelsea have received a written offer from Lyon to sign Pulisic for €25million (£21.5m, $27.3m) plus a meaningful sell-on clause that is still being negotiated.

Lyon’s offer for Pulisic is at a level which Chelsea would find acceptable for Pulisic compared to AC Milan’s offer which is way lower than what Chelsea want for the transfer of Pulisic.

AC Milan made their first verbal offer for the 24-year-old Chelsea winger worth €14million (£12m, $15.3m).

Pulisic, who has been capped 60 times by USA, joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019. He has scored 26 goals in 145 appearances for Chelsea.
