It’s good to know the Mason Mount saga is over and he would be joining Manchester United. There’s no point keeping a player who believes he can earn more elsewhere. So we hope the whole narrative of Mount being a proper Chels ends.

Chelsea have reached an agreement Manchester United to sell Mount for £60million, with the player given the permission to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms with Manchester United.

According to the Telegraph, Mount will pocket at least £78million in wages if he stays at Old Trafford for the full term of his deal, as he will be paid £250,000-a-week, plus bonuses that could earn him up to £300,000-a-week.

Mount will now undergo a medical and sign his United contract that will run for five years, with the option of a further 12 months, which could take him to the age of 30.
