Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed the outcome of the first round of direct contacts between Chelsea and Manchester United to discuss the transfer of Mason Mount.
Chelsea rejected a third bid of £55million for Mount from Manchester United last week, with the Blues demanding for a transfer fee of £65million.
Romano said: “Sources remain confident on positive outcome for Mason Mount deal after first round of direct contacts between clubs.
“Man Utd and Chelsea will talk again soon. All parties consider this week as crucial moment to make final decision between United and Chelsea.”
