According to the Athletic, Chelsea have reached an agreement to sell Mason Mount to Manchester United in a deal worth up to £60million.

Manchester United had a third bid worth £55m rejected last week but have now agreed to pay an initial fee of £55m plus £5m in difficult add-ons.

Chelsea have now given Mount the permission to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms with Manchester United.

Mount, 24, is a product of the Chelsea academy and has made 195 appearances for the club since his first-team debut in 2017, scoring 33 goals.
