Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic has been told by returning USA boss Gregg Berhalter that AC Milan would be a “very attractive” move for him.
The 24 year old winger is attracting interest from AC Milan after struggling to nail down a regular role under different managers at Chelsea.
Berhalter, who is taking the reins of the United States national team for a second time, has told Gazzetta dello Sport when asked about the speculation that continues to rage around Pulisic: “Christian plays for Chelsea. But Italy and Milan are still very attractive destinations, not least because of the possibility of playing in the Champions League.
“But no advice, these are personal choices. The same goes for Balogun, who is already a certainty and not just a striker of the future as I hear people say. We’ll see…”
Meanwhile, Senegalese international Kalidou Koulibaly has sent a message to Chelsea fans following his transfer to Saudi club Al-Hilal.
Koulibaly wrote on social media: “From my first game to my last, it was an honour to wear this badge. Last season wasn’t the one we wanted, but I want to thank the fans and everyone at the club for your support.”
