According to the Telegraph via Metro, Chelsea have rejected an offer from Turkish club Galatasaray for 34 year old striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang made a shock deadline day move to Stamford Bridge from Barcelona last summer for a fee of €12million (£10.3m).

Chelsea turned down Galatasaray’s offer for Aubameyang because the Turkish side offered to sign the striker as a free agent. Chelsea want to try and recoup at least some of the money spent on him.

Aubameyang is also attracting interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.
