According to Italian media outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, Champions League finalist Inter Milan are confident of signing Romelu Lukaku on a permanent deal after Chelsea rejected their loan offer for the striker.
Inter Milan believe the potential sale of goalkeeper Andre Onana would help raise the funds needed to sign Lukaku on a permanent deal from Chelsea.
Lukaku spent last season on loan at Inter Milan and is keen to return to the Italian club next season.
Chelsea signed Lukaku from Inter Milan for a then club-record £97.5m fee but are now willing to take a significant loss in order to shift him permanently this summer.
The Blues hope to sell Lukaku as quickly as possible this summer and have placed a price tag of £34million on the striker.
