Chelsea star in the dark over his future

According to a report on Evening Standard, Chelsea star Mason Mount is in the dark over his future after Chelsea rejected a £55million offer from Manchester United for the England international.

The report on Evening Standard states: “Mason Mount is in the dark over his future after Chelsea rejected a third offer worth £55million for the midfielder from Manchester United.

“United are now said to be pursuing other targets after reaching a stand-off with Chelsea, who want £65m for Mount.

“Chelsea rejected United’s latest bid on Friday, worth £50m plus £5m in add-ons, and countered by requesting £58m plus £7m in add-ons.

“Mount has had no further contact with United over the weekend. He is keen on a move to Old Trafford but United are unwilling to meet Chelsea’s asking price for a player who has one year left on his contract.”
