According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has warned he has no plans to sign a new Chelsea contract after the club rejected a third bid from Manchester United.
Mount has reportedly insisted it’s either he is allowed to join Manchester United this summer or leave the club as a free agent next year.
Manchester United’s third bid of £55million was rejected by Chelsea with the Blues lowering its demands to £65million for the transfer of Mount.
Manchester United believe £55million is a fair price for Mount who has just one year left on his contract but Chelsea value the midfielder at £65million.
Bayern Munich boss and former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is a huge fan of Mount but the German club have not contacted Mount or Chelsea over a transfer for the midfielder.
Romano also adds that Manchester United have not withdrawn their offer of £55million for Mount despite the offer being rejected by Chelsea. However, the Red Devils won’t wait forever for Chelsea to accept the offer.
