According to Italian media outlet Tuttosport via Sempreinter, Inter Milan are considering a loan offer with an obligation to buy for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.
Chelsea have previously rejected Inter Milan’s loan offer for Lukaku, with the Blues only willing to sanction a permanent transfer for the 30 year old striker.
Despite the 30-year-old still being amortized in the Blues’ balance sheet for €68 million over the remaining three years of his contract, Tuttosport report that Chelsea would listen to offers of €40-45 million.
Both AC Milan and Al-Hilal are reportedly keen on Lukaku and are willing to pay what is required for the transfer but Lukaku reportedly only wants Inter Milan.
Inter Milan hope to have a deal in place by the time Lukaku returns from his vacation in mid-June. They are hoping their offer of a loan deal with an obligation to buy will convince Chelsea to sanction a transfer.
