Manchester United submitted a third bid of £55million for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount on Friday and the Blues have now made a decision on the bid.

Manchester United’s £55million bid for Mount – £50million guaranteed and £5million in add-ons – has now been rejected by Chelsea, according to Matt Law of the Telegraph.

Chelsea have reportedly told Manchester United that they are willing to accept £65million for Mount, £58million guaranteed and £7million in add-ons, and have also offered to meet Manchester United in person to resolve the situation.

Despite Mount’s contract expiring next year and the midfielder informing Chelsea that he won’t renew, Chelsea are standing firm on the club’s valuation of Mount.

With Chelsea agreeing to sell Kai Havertz to Arsenal for £65million, it seems the Blues are unwilling to go below the £65million mark for Mount.
