According to French media outlet L’Equipe, French club Lyon have contacted Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic over a potential summer transfer.
Pulisic has just one year left on his Chelsea contract and is expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer after getting frustrated over his lack of game time.
Lyon’s American owner John Textor is said to be big on the move, and is envisioning bringing Pulisic to France, but they face competition from Napoli, Juventus and AC Milan.
Meanwhile, Pulisic has suggested he wants to leave Chelsea, insisting he needs to ‘play and be trusted’ at club level.
“It’s absolutely a time where I need to figure out what’s going to be best for my future and be somewhere where I can go and play and be trusted and feel good in what I’m doing,” Pulisic told ESPN.
“I want to find that joy at club level again, for sure.”
