According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson is to undergo his Chelsea medical today after both clubs reached an agreement on his transfer.

Romano said: “Main part of medical tests for Nicolas Jackson will take place today; Chelsea are finally checking contracts with Villarreal for €37m deal.

“Deal completed on Friday and now set to be signed as Jackson will be unveiled as new signing soon on very long term contract.”

Meanwhile, according to the Sun, Nicolas Jackson is called ‘next Neymar’ in Senegal for the skills he has at his disposal.

The 22-year-old talent, born in Gambia but plays his international football for Senegal, has agreed to sign for Chelsea.

A combination of quick feet, impressive dribbling skills and an eye for goal has made Chelsea secure his signing ahead of next season.

Jackson ended last season on fire, with nine league goals in eight matches as Quique Setien’s Villarreal secured a Europa League spot.
