According to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea have told Romelu Lukaku’s representative Sebastien Ledure that the Blues won’t sanction another loan move for the striker this summer.
Lukaku is keen on returning to Inter Milan ahead of next season but the Italian club only want to sign the striker on loan.
Lukaku spent last season on loan at Inter Milan and the Chelsea hierarchy aren’t willing to sanction another loan move for the Chelsea striker. Chelsea want Lukaku to depart the club permanently and are looking to receive at least €40million for his transfer.
Meanwhile, Christian Pulisic has suggested he wants to leave Chelsea, insisting he needs to ‘play and be trusted’ at club level.
Much was expected of Pulisic when he completed a £58m move to Stamford Bridge in 2019 off the back of four productive years at Borussia Dortmund but the American international has failed to impress.
Despite his battles with injury and form, Pulisic has many admirers in Italy and is attracting interest from Napoli, Juventus and AC Milan this summer.
“It’s absolutely a time where I need to figure out what’s going to be best for my future and be somewhere where I can go and play and be trusted and feel good in what I’m doing,” Pulisic told ESPN.
“I want to find that joy at club level again, for sure.”
