With Declan Rice set to leave West Ham this summer, West Ham have have now joined the race to sign Denis Zakaria, who spent lasr season on loan at Chelsea from Juventus.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said: “Understand West Ham are among clubs interested in signing Denis Zakaria. He’s back to Juventus after Chelsea loan.

“West Ham asked for informations on conditions of the deal — but there are many clubs in the race. Zakaria is not in Juventus plan for next season.”

The 26-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge on loan on deadline day last summer from Juventus but only made 11 appearances in all competitions, completing 90 minutes just once.
