According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are set to submit a bid in excess of £55million for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.

Manchester United have already had two bids for Mount rejected by Chelsea, the latest a £50million bid. Chelsea want to sell the England international for £65million.

Romano said: “Manchester United are set to submit third official bid in excess of £55m for Mason Mount.

“Sources feel this is going to be the final proposal after two bids rejected in the recent weeks.

“Man Utd want quick resolution — also, 100% agreed personal terms.”
