Despite interest from Brighton and several other clubs, Chelsea centre-back Levi Colwill won’t be sold by Chelsea this summer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Blues have already rejected a £30million bid from Brighton for the 20 year old and have made it clear that the defender isn’t for sale.

Romano said: “Brighton will insist for Levi Colwill this week after £30m bid rejected. There are more clubs interested. Chelsea’s position remains clear: keep the player, offer him new deal.

“Blues hope Koulibaly exit can help Colwill to get guarantees on game time and sign new deal.”

Meanwhile, according to Daily Mail, Chelsea players are unhappy with the wages of Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling.

The England international is reportedly the highest paid Chelsea player following his move from Manchester City last summer. Sterling is reportedly on a salary of more than £300,000 per week at Chelsea.

The report on Daily Mail states: “Raheem Sterling was reportedly given £300,000-a-week to join from Manchester City last summer causing disquiet among other players whose contract are up for renewal.

“England midfielder Mason Mount, who has 12 months left on his current deal, has been unimpressed with Chelsea’s offer.”
