According to Spanish outlet Diario AS, Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson is set to complete his transfer to Chelsea.

The 21-year-old striker has reportedly already personal terms with Chelsea and will travel to London this week to undergo a medical before signing a five year contract with an option of another year.

Chelsea will pay Villarreal €35 million (£30 million) in transfer fees for Jackson, according to the report in the Spanish publication.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed Chelsea have decided to activate the release clause for the Villarreal striker and are set to pay €35m (£30m) in instalments for the 21-year-old.

The Guardian has stated that the Senegalese international has already agreed personal terms with the Blues.

The attacker made 26 La Liga appearances this year and registered 16 goal involvements (12 goals and four assists) which has attracted Chelsea.
