Manchester United have warned Chelsea that they are ready to walk away from talks to sign Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount, according to Metro.
Manchester United are considering alternatives to signing Mount this summer with Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze among those being tracked by the Red Devils.
United saw an opening bid of £40million rejected by Chelsea this week, with the Blues valuing the 24-year-old at closer to £70million.
While the Manchester club are prepared to increase their offer to £50million, they have warned they will walk away if Chelsea reject their next offer.
The Red Devils aren’t willing to pay more than £50million for Mount who has just one year left on his Chelsea contract.
