Clubs aren’t interested in signing Chelsea star due to his £200,000 per week wages

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea star Christian Pulisic is struggling to find another Premier League club to match his wages at Chelsea.

Pulisic has just one year left on his Chelsea contract and he will be allowed to leave the club this summer as Mauricio Pochettino trims the Chelsea squad.

Ideally the American would like to stay in England but other clubs are wary of meeting the winger’s current contract which sees him earn more than £200,000-a-week.

Pulisic has revealed he will assess his future this summer after admitting that last season took its toll.

Pulisic played just 812 minutes of Premier League football as the Blues slumped to a 12th-place finish in 2022-23 – their lowest since 1994.

“It’s been a tough season for me personally and for our team at club level,” Pulisic said.

“I thought it was a great couple years and the last couple years just haven’t gone at all how I’ve planned them to be.

“And right now my focus is obviously here with the national team. I’m just excited to get back playing and just enjoy myself and do what I love to do out on the field.

“And from there, this summer, we’re obviously going to have to see what happens.

“It’s obviously very early. As of right now I’m a Chelsea player and I plan to go back. But a lot of things can happen. A lot of things can change.”
