According to Daily Mail, Chelsea players are unhappy with the wages of Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling.

The England international is reportedly the highest paid Chelsea player following his move from Manchester City last summer. Sterling is reportedly on a salary of more than £300,000 per week at Chelsea.

The report on Daily Mail states: “Raheem Sterling was reportedly given £300,000-a-week to join from Manchester City last summer causing disquiet among other players whose contract are up for renewal.

“England midfielder Mason Mount, who has 12 months left on his current deal, has been unimpressed with Chelsea’s offer.”

Meanwhile, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Chelsea are advancing on a deal for Ecuadorian midfielder and Brighton star Moises Caicedo.

Romano said: “Chelsea are advancing on Moisés Caicedo deal. Talks progressing on the player side, contract proposal made — personal terms close to being agreed.

“Deal not done yet — it will take time. Chelsea expect to negotiate for £80m fee. Pact with De Zerbi will guarantee to leave.”
