Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is prepared to let 24 year old Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella leave the club this summer, according to the Mirror.

Cucurella joined Chelsea from Brighton last summer for £60million but has so far struggled to impress at Chelsea.

Newcastle have added the Spanish defender to their list of summer transfer targets as they plan for the Champions League.

It was current Newcastle sporting director Dan Ashworth who brought Cucurella to Brighton from Getafe when he was Brighton’s technical director.

Pochettino’s willingness to sell Cucurella this summer has alerted Newcastle with the Blues willing to sell the Spanish left-back for £30million.
