World Cup winner and Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez has told those close to him that he wants to join Chelsea this summer, according to Football Insider.

The 25 year old striker, who won the World Cup with Argentina in 2022, wants to play in the Premier League next season and is attracted by a potential move to Stamford Bridge.

Inter Milan are keen to offload players this summer in a bid to raise funds for their window spending and would reluctantly listen to offers for the World Cup Winner.

The report adds Inter Milan are open to selling Martinez this summer to Chelsea if they receive a bid in the region of £60million.

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochetinno has identified Martinez as a potential target this summer and is very keen to see him join his squad this summer.

Martinez scored 21 times for Inter Milan in 38 Serie A appearances last season helping his side finish in the top four and get to the Champions League Final.
