According to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, German champions Bayern Munich have now entered the race to sign Chelsea star Kai Havertz.

Bayern Munich were reportedly not previously interested in signing Havertz but have now changed their stance with Arsenal leading the race to sign the German international.

Bayern Munich boss and former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is pushing Bayern Munich to sign Havertz as he is keen on reuniting with the forward.

Tuchel see Havertz as an alternative to Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani. Bayern Munich believe it’s feasible signing Havertz this summer compared to Kolo Muani.
