Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed a club statement will be made soon announcing the transfer of Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante to Saudi club Al Ittihad.
Kante will leave Chelsea this summer as a free agent after seven years at Stamford Bridge.
Romano said: “No doubts. N’Golo Kanté will play for Al Ittihad next season, deal sealed and set to be announced soon. Club statement will be the next step.”
Romano has previously confirmed Kante has already completed his medicals and his move to Saudi club Al Ittihad is done and sealed.
Kante will earn a massive €100million per year in the Saudi league. He is joining the Saudi club on a two-year contract with the option of a third year.
Romano said: “Documents are being signed today for N’Golo Kanté to Al Ittihad as revealed last week — done and sealed soon.
“Kanté salary will be around €100m, first part of medical tests already completed. Here we go confirmed, end of an era at Chelsea.”
