According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have informed Inter Milan that the Blues aren’t willing accept loan deals for Romelu Lukaku and Kalidou Koulibaly.
Chelsea signed Lukaku two years ago for £98million while Koulibaly was signed from Napoli last summer for £33million.
Romano said: “Chelsea have told Inter they’ve no plan to accept loan deals for Romelu Lukaku and Kalidou Koulibaly at this stage.
“Talks between clubs will continue in order to find a solution; player’s position will also be crucial to understand how to proceed.”
Meanwhile, Premier League rivals Arsenal fear losing Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo to Chelsea, according to Football Transfers.
Both clubs were interested in signing the 21 year old Ecuador international in January but Brighton were reluctant to sell until the summer at least.
The report adds: “Chelsea are, according to FootballTransfers’ sources, pushing very hard to complete a deal, having not shown their hand to the midfielder earlier this year.
“Arsenal are now concerned that the Stamford Bridge side will be able to persuade Caicedo to sign by offering him more money. It is thought that this could be a decisive factor in the player’s thinking.
“A further factor in the deal is that Caicedo’s agent is reportedly seeking more money from the deal, with Chelsea looking likelier to match these demands than Arsenal.
“FootballTransfers’ understanding is that the agent is now pushing for the midfielder to pick Chelsea as his future club ahead of the Gunners.”
