New Chelsea signing Kendry Paez has warned about comparisons with former Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

Paez told ESPN: “I’m Kendry, I’m going to give the name to Ecuador. I’m going to continue being me, I don’t want to be compared to Messi. He’s very special, he’s the best.

“I’m 16-years-old, they cannot compare me with him, because I’m in a process. I have things to improve and gain a lot of experience. Later, with time, perhaps with what I win, maybe with Kendry Paez, the Ecuadorian. It’s me and no one else.”

Former Chelsea star Florent Malouda has revealed he has been campaigning for Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe to join Chelsea but has failed so far.

Malouda said as per Diario AS: “I have been campaigning for Kylian Mbappe to join Chelsea for a long time! So far, I’ve failed, but I’ll keep trying!

“There aren’t many teams that can give Kylian Mbappe what he wants and there aren’t many teams that can build around him.”
