According to the Telegraph via TalkSPORT, Arsenal have joined Real Madrid in the race to sign Chelsea forward Kai Havertz this summer.

However, the Gunners are unwilling to pay Chelsea’s £70million asking price for the sale of Havertz.

The report adds that Arsenal and Real Madrid are not willing to pay more than £50million for Havertz and are both monitoring the situation at Stamford Bridge.

It has been said that clubs know that Chelsea need to raise funds this summer, and hope that they decide to lower their demands.
