Chelsea duo Reece James and Ben Chilwell have given their verdict on Mason Mount’s Chelsea future amid reports linking him with a move to Manchester United.
Manchester United are believed to have already agreed personal terms with Mount and Chelsea are resigned to losing a player who has been at the club since 2005.
Asked if he would be upset to see United-linked Mount leave, James told Sky Sports on Sunday: “Yeah, of course. If he goes everyone will be sad to see him go.”
Chilwell was also asked about Mount’s possible exit, saying: “I mean, that’s none of my business personally, but I’d love him to stay. He’s my best mate. Personally I’d love him to stay but it’s not my business, I can’t really comment on that.”
