According to Spanish outlet Relevo, Real Madrid are in talks with the representatives of Chelsea forward Kai Havertz over a move to the Spanish club.
Real Madrid are in the market for a striker this summer after announcing Karim Benzema will leave this summer when his contract expires amid interest from Saudi Arabia.
Real Madrid reportedly consider signing Havertz great value for money due to his versatility and age (Havertz is 23). Real Madrid also believe Chelsea will be open to selling the German international due to financial Fair Play problems.
Meanwhile, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is open to selling the German international if an important fee is received for the former Bayer Leverkusen star who joined Chelsea for £72million in 2020.
Chelsea is also not open to accepting loan bids for Havertz and will only let him leave Stamford Bridge if an important offer is received for the German international.
